How to Request Account Deletion
If you wish to permanently delete your GII Quest account and all associated data, please follow the steps below to submit a deletion request through our support ticket system.
Important: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data, including your profile, HIRE Score, certificates, course progress, and achievements will be permanently removed.
Steps to Request Account Deletion
- Open the GII Quest App on your device
- Navigate to Help & Support section
- Click on New Ticket
- Select Category: Other
- Write Subject as: Delete Account
- Write Description: Delete Account
- Click Submit Ticket
Processing Time: Account deletion requests are typically processed within 7-14 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been permanently deleted.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following information will be permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number, education details)
- All uploaded content (resumes, certificates, photos)
- Your HIRE Score and assessment results
- Course progress and completed modules
- Earned certificates and achievements
- Mentor session history
- Support tickets and correspondence
- Payment history (after required retention period)
Data Retention
Some information may be retained for legal, regulatory, or operational purposes:
- Transaction records may be retained for accounting and tax compliance (up to 7 years as required by law)
- Anonymized data may be retained for analytics and service improvement
- Data required for legal proceedings or regulatory compliance
All retained data will be kept secure and will not be used for marketing or service delivery purposes.
Alternative: Temporary Account Deactivation
